Mahabharata Episode 23 - Pandavas Escape
The start of my story, which could be used as a flashback scene. This video goes into detail about how the Pandava brothers' escape. The palace was made of combustible material, but they were able to escape the fire due to a secret tunnel that was built underground leading to the forest.
Mahabharata Episode 42 - Yudhishthir Gambles
The Pandavas play a game of dice. Yudhishthir accepts an invitation in politeness and customary procedure, although still wary. The Pandavas are guided to the imperial court, their rival 'cheats' in the game by choosing a substitute. There are many powerful men viewing the game.
Yudhishthir lost the first game, the Pandava wealth was taken.
Yudhishthir then bets his gold, treasure, and fine jewels, but loses that as well.
His kingdom, horses, and army were then lost as well as Yudhisthir loses round after round, and is finally left with nothing.

Mahabharata Episode 43 - The Gambling Match
Yudhisthir's final wager is his brother, a respected warrior. He loses his brother and is unable to do anything about it. Sadev knew all principals of morality, and lost that as well. He wages another brother, who is a master of archery. Yudhisthir even wagers Bhima and loses him as well. Yudhisthir finally has nothing else but himself, and comes to lose that as well.
